remarks: Vrboska is daily connected by bus with other towns on the island. There are ferries from Stari Grad (6 km) to Split several times a day. Airport in Split and ferry connections with Italian towns: Trieste, Venice, Rimini, and Ancona; Rijeka and Dubrovnik (Rijeka-Zadar-Split-Stari Grad-Korčula-Dubrovnik). Regular boat service with the island of Brač (airport) is provided during the summer.
